a Senior Windows Administrator for its Engineering
Services Team, located in Kuala Lumpur. Smart Team
maintains one of the largest networks of
windows servers in the industry.
The applicant will be involved in the design, installation,
and maintainence of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server
technology for web hosting services. Core tasks
will be the management of IIS services in a high
density server environment, administration of SQL
Server systems,
perform system backups, upgrades, and performance
tuning. Successful candidates should have
experience with large-scale deployments of Windows
2000/2003 in a server environment. Note, experience
limited to desktop support is not adequate for this
position.
Required skills:
- BS in Computer Science, IT management or equivalent
field.
- Excellent written and verbal communications
expected as well as commitment to quality and
customer satisfaction.
- Minimum four years of experience in management
of Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003 based operating
systems.
- The ability to design and maintain large windows
installations in a 24x7 production environment.
